Christmas and stuff...

We had a nice little Christmas here at our new house :o) One of our neighbors' husband is in Korea until September, so we invited her and her daughter over for some breakfast and a movie. It was a nice morning, unlike Christmas Eve! I planned too much for my self that day, and I was worn very thin... you'll see not one of Landis's presents was wrapped!! I just couldn't do it. He didn't care, but I plan to do much better next year! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, so I wont' go on forever, but I'll mention something about our future...

We still don't know much besides the fact that Brandon is definitely cross training! There was a weird mix up at some abbreviated office, and for a few days while Brandon was off for the holidays, he was stated as "Separating" instead of "Re- enlisting"... so he lit a fire under some butts in the office, and now everything is fixed (Thank God!). So we are now waiting for his class date... again. After we know when he has to report for training, we'll know a lot more in the way of when we leave Tucson.

So, here are some picture from Christmas... oh and they loaded backward, because it's been so long since I've posted an entry that I forgot I have to load them in reverse order to get them to show up int he order I really want them in. I should have learned my lesson by now, but no.

I clipped his toenails, then he had to try! He did a good job :o)

This has become his favorite place to sit while I'm 'putering... and he is poking the bird with a marker.

My handsome little guy for Christmas!

He got a Leapfrog Farm learny thingy for Christmas!

Checkin' out his Mickey Mouse Airplane from his stocking

A Landis-sized Wii remote! (It was a candy dispenser, sort of like Pez...)

Fridge magnet letters and Curious George balls!

The first thing he grabs every morning is Brandon's XBOX controller, so he was a bit distracted at first.

See, he'd seen the stuff under the tree, but decided to play with Daddy's controller first.

I think I've finally gotten my wreath how I like it... but I'm sure I'll find something else to add next year.

I tried to kill two birds with one stone by getting the tree and garland in one shot... the camera freaked out and decided to play dead instead of focusing... on anything.

I had a really great idea to have a Christmas Cookie tree this year, to kind of start a new tradition we could do every year. I was going to make cookies, and decorate them Christmas eve, then hang them on the tree, and we could eat them on Christmas day. But... Christmas Eve was very hectic... so no cookies this year.

We call this our Who-ville Tree... the top was really weak so the star kept drooping over! It was funny.

Awesome picture of the little guy at Christmas dinner at our friend Melissa's house. Look at the sun shining through those ears! He's so beautiful...

And this was Landis playing in the snow at a winter event they had on the base. He stood there for a few seconds then decided that it was no fun. So, I guess he didn't really play at all.
