Reptiles

Our hostess got two new pets last week. A ball python and an iguana. Landis loves both! I'm not very excited about the snake, but Landis is really curious about it, so Brandon helps him pet it.

"Haha!! A 'nake, momma!!"

He's so cute with Bedhead!

Reminds me of my dad back in the day of military issue glasses :o)

Just an awesome picture!

It's a "rawr", lol.

He thought it was awesome!

Lasagna and Key Lime Pie face!

Clearasil should help...

Lasagna stained eyebrow

I love his laughing face almost as much as his crying face!!

How we are surviving being homeless

2 more weeks and we can move into our house! Hopefully we can think of some more shenanigans to keep ourselves busy. Brandon starts back to work tomorrow (the 19th), so Landis and I will be holding down the fort here at our temporary home, that is not a hotel! A friend's mom has graciously let us stay in her house while we wait to move in to ours. Thank you Cathy!!!!

So, while I've got time to waste on the computer, I'm posting pictures of some fun we've already gotten into.

Gir snuggled with Landis one night in our hotel room

Landis watching TV cuddled under the hotel's comforter.

Fun in a crate!

Lounge session in the recliner (hotel)

Sleepy guy :o)

Tying shoes

He's discovered the dog treats! They're gonna get fat now...

Thye know to be nice to Landis and not snatch the treats away... they're so good!

Keona's lookin' a bit scary!

Now, at first glance, this poor baby looks all bruised...

This one might suggest he's saying, "YOU did this to me!!"

But, let's examine the boy a little closer.

See how it's kind of shiny? A bit... glittery, perhaps?

Now, can you tell what he go into?

He played in my makeup :o) Note the lipstick in the armpit!

Purple eyeshawdow, black eyeliner, and lipstick... does make him look a little battered... plus all the tears don't help my case any.

See?? He got a fun bubble bath out of the whole ordeal.

Silly boy!

Our House!

Hi... the story is on the bottom after all the pictures. It's late, and I'm not sure why it's not letting me move it. So, yay for pictures!!
This is our house in Colorado Springs!

This is our TREE!

A wide angle lens would have been awesome for this picture, lol.

It ain't a jacuzzi, but it sure is DEEP!!

Sky lights in both upstairs bathrooms

Nice neutral tile in kitchen and bathrooms :o)

Awesome window in master bedroom!

The door should be closed, but i was really taking a picture of the fun shelfy thingy up there... what could I put up there?!?!?

Hoping my blankets and stuff will fit in this hall closet

The house across the street has a CHRISTMAS TREE in the front yard!! AAAACK!!! WHEE!!!!

View of the tree in the front yard from our bedroom window :o)

Awesome pantry space!! Even comes with a cute little boy who LOVES to clean...

Our kitchen... with inspector clutter, but still :o)

Cool faucet!

Track lighting above the sink

Nice new tile work!

The hall of doors! From left to right: Half Bath, Garage, Pit of Doom (Basement), and the Pantry

Extra closet in the dining area... probably the coat closet.

Nice sized back yard!!!

Some type of greenery, but it's not grass...

Next on my wishlist: a wideangle lens!

We'll probably, somehow, make this part of the yard a dog run area...

Fun times in the garage... apparently the blue thing is an old well pump.

The path down into the depths

It's unfinished, so that is one of the first projects we'd like to get done...

Washer and dryer go in the basement under the stairs... not ideal, but oh well.

We are buying a house!! It's a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2 story home, with a basement, and a great sized backyard, nice quiet neighborhood, and it's about 5 minutes from the East gate of Peterson Air Force Base (which dumps you RIGHT next to the BX and Commissary), and is only a 10 minute drive to Schriever, which is the base Brandon is stationed at. We are scheduled to close on the 30th of this month, so cross your fingers that everything turns out for the best and we will only be homeless for 18 more days!!!!

We hope you enjoy our home!!
