Busy evening

Hey there! I'm so glad you can view the blog easily... when the internet actually works! One of these days, I'll have to add a video and see how well that goes.

We had a busy day today. We went to Cynthia's baby shower and got to see Norm. He brought his daughter, and he says he has another one on the way. I didn't ask if he was married though. Eh, whatever. Then we ran to the commissary for a few things for dinner, and came home to try to do flight of the bumble bee... but I was still cleaning when Crystal and Callie got here. Anyway, I pulled the massive clog out of the vacuum cleaner hose. So it works now. I scared Landis in the process, but that boy's gotta toughen up! I can't just NOT vacuum. I held him for the beginning, then put him back in his jumper, and he cried for a minute, but then he was okay.

Callie put the new shelf together for me tonight while I was getting Landis ready for bed! I like it. I really feel like this is a good arrangement. Not having a coffee table in front of us will take some getting used to, but it's really for the best with having Landis. He's got a place to play now. And we have a ton of room to play with him on the floor. I think you'll really like the feel of it. I'm not completely done with the living room yet though. The lamp will not stay in front of the picture, I just forgot to move it before I took the picture, and I do have the slip covers but I need to find a rug still... The slipcovers are very comfy! I like the way they look, but it looks weird against the red rug. Anyway... I'll keep looking around for a good one.

Alrighty... I'm off to bed... I'm beat!!
